EHPAD

Affiche

Brief : create the signage and the identity of
Saint-Mars-la-Jaille’s retirement home (EHPAD), with Timothé Gourdin.

We wanted to give a good image of this place : a convivial image more than a place of death. We worked around the idea of the language, playing with expressions of the daily life (Dinner’s ready ! Coffee ?).
We chose a linear typography to be legible by anyone. We made
the arrow and the punctuation marks by hand to add warmth.
For the bedrooms, we made the space more poetic by using short sentences ( « under the lemon trees »). Finally, for the identity,
we played with the apostrophe and the image of a leaf.
We gave an stable and reassuring image of the retirement home,
but also a human image.

Skills gained : exchanging with real clients and old people, discovering a particular environnement, responding to
the different needs and expectations of a specific public.
