Brief
The aim of the project was to design a signage for the Turbulences Festival, based in Nantes, in pairs with Zoé Pennanguer.

Approach
Turbulences Festival highlights students’ works using exhibitions, concerts and live performances… It mostly happens on the campus of the university. We wanted to show that the campus is in fact the stage.

Outcome
The result is an accumulation of posters with critics close to live performance universe according to the identity of the festival. The posters appear in step before the festival to do a teaser. Sounds from this universe are played when students enter the buildings.

December 2016

Brief
In groups of four, with Simon Le Roux, Yan Huang and Carla Marceau, we were commissioned to design the identity and the packaging of a tea brand. The workshop was led by the designer Paul Vickers.

Approach
The tea is represented by two aspects: The British grandmother who drinks tea at 4pm and the junkie who drinks tea all day long. There is a duality between these two universes, but tea brings them together.

Outcome
The result is a semi-transparent bag of loose leaf, similar to drug bags. A pattern like the grandmother’s wallpaper is printed with texture like stamps to represent the flavour. The logotype is minimalist and shows the two worlds using sans serif and manual typography made with a marker.

Les Choses

School project
December 2015

Brief
The aim of the project was to design a visual identity of a film adaptation of a book with a poster, the DVD box set, the booklet and the invitation card for the premiere.

Approach
I chose the book Les Choses by the French author Georges Perec. It is the story of a young couple who buys a lot of items in an attempt to belong to the upper class, but their life stays empty. This emptiness and their constant purchases of items are both important subjects of the book.

Outcome
The result is a double-sided visual where objects are getting the upper hand on the couple by their big size in a minimalist way. The couple tries to climb that mountain of objects, painfully.

School project
October 2015

Brief
In groups of four, with Marine de Castelneau, Savina de Chasseval and Pauline Cuillerier, we were asked to create a short stop-motion video about “Interaction”. The workshop was led by Julia Peguet, animator at Aardman Studio.

Approach
We chose to illustrate the interaction between an illustrator who is looking for inspiration and his environment. He has to hurry before the deadline ends, but he has no imagination.

Outcome
The result is a video where the illustrator’s hands interact with his work space and his tools. His imagination brings his objects to life and observes them moving.
